The Tri-M Sunday School class is putting our faith to work! We are organizing, supporting, and participating in many church functions. Right now we are collecting needed items for Needline. Please bring your donations to the church and place them in the Tri-M classroom in the front of the church. Needed items are: canned meat and vegitables, dry cereal, powdered milk, dried beans, bath soap, personal hygene items and paper grocery sacks.
If you are not attending Sunday school we would like to invite you to come and join ours on Sunday mournings at 9:45 am.
We believe what we do is an important part of the church, and we invite everyone to join us in these efforts.
There are nine members who have committed to and participate in the Wednesday night Bible study. There are six members who are involved in the new Methodist Men’s group. Most of the women are active in the United Methodist Women. The entire class is volunteering and supporting Need Line.
We have a Tri-M nurture and evangelism committee who contact both inactive and possible new members. We have committed to helping sponsor the annual fish fry, a Sunday morning audio tape service, and missions.
The Tri-M class has started the third SOAP group with six members! This is a dynamic group who believes in action and is working toward serving God. They are involved in visiting, Need Line and other church activities. The Tri-M class has doubled its attendance in the past few months.
We invite you to join us on Sunday morning and get involved in the work which we are doing daily. To quote Rev. Roger Hopson, “If you’re not dead, do something!” |
